Exactly. When you submitted a police report they can not write you a letter where they mention that you did not provide a police report.
btw...did you book at enterprise directly?
In case you booked somewhere else (ex. Check24 or a broker like Autoeurope) you can ask there for additional help.

I booked directly via their website. No 3rd party was involved.

Nochmal, das vorgelegte Dokument ist KEINE Rechnung, KEIN Gutachten. Dies ist nur eine REPARATURKOSTENSSCHÄTZUNG (Repair Cost Estimate). Das steht alles auf den Dokumenten. Auf der Basis würde ich NIEMALS bezahlen. Du hast auch einen Polizeibericht vorgelegt. Die vereinbarte Selbstbeteiligung hast du bereits bezahlt.
Sag Enterprise, dass du nicht bezahlst und warte ab. Ich würde in jedem Falle auch einen Rechtsanwalt einschalten. Fertig!

I have now looked again at the documents in detail. Yesterday evening it was already late.

-on the last page it says: "The creation of this document took place without viewing the object (car)". So the document isn't even worth the piece of paper.
- According the document it is only a repair cost calculation
- and the last sentence says: "This document should not be regarded as a substitute for an expert opinion."

So i suggest sending the police report again to Enterprise and in addition, I'd consider appointing a lawyer. Enterprise will have to pay your lawyer's fees.

Thanks a lot Heating and Robert for the detailed reply. I will not pay what they ask. I'll start off by just sending them my police report again and ask them to scrap the case.

When it comes to a lawyer, i don't have a lawyer's insurance. If i do go to a lawyer now, only when i win the case will enterprise agree to pay my legal costs? Sorry i haven't had any experience with lawyers before. Will take this as a wake up call and get the lawyer insurance now for later issues.

Ja, ich denke, dass du eine starke Position hast. Was Enterprise macht ist unseriös. Keinesfalls bezahlen !!!!
Den Lawyer muss Enterprise nur bezahlen, wenn du gewinnst.

Hallo zusammen!

ich bin neu hier und habe den Thread gelesen. Was Enterprise von @mr.X da fordert, kann man schon kriminell nennen. Die SB einkassieren und dann mit einem selbst beauftragten Reparaturkostenvoranschlag (ohne Reparaturrechnung, ohne Gutachten!) noch eine hohe Nachforderung stellen, das ist schon ein Ding!!!

Auf keinen Fall würde ich da bezahlen!

quick update: i called them today, they simply said they didn't receive my police report before. I sent them the police report and damage report via email on Friday evening. They now said that they have received it and are now verifying the report and will get back to me once they are done. Have also sent them a letter by post asking them to give me a confirmation that the case is now closed.

Aber ich bin sicher, dass Enterprise die Forderung zurückziehen wird!
